Farm equipment auction set for February 27
MISSISSIPPI STATE – The Mississippi Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station will hold a Farm and Industrial Equipment Auction Feb. 27 at the Mississippi Horse Park and Agricenter in Starkville.
The auction will begin at 10 a.m. and feature a wide range of surplus equipment being sold for Mississippi State University. The equipment and vehicles for auction include tractors, trackhoes, ditchers, skid steers, combines, cotton pickers, trailers and ATVs.
The sale is an absolute auction conducted by Square County Auctions. All items must be paid for on the day of auction by cash, cashier’s check or personal check with a current bank letter of credit. Sale items can be viewed from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Feb. 25 and 26.
“The equipment for sale is well maintained and in good working condition,” said Reuben Moore, MAFES associate director. “We encourage those interested in purchasing new equipment and tractors to take a look at the sale items and attend on the 27th to place their bids.”
