Report an Invasive Hornet Sighting

The three invasive species of hornets (Northern Giant Hornet, Yellow-legged Hornet, and the Oriental Hornet) are the only ones that need to be reported. If you have a dead specimen, please retain it in your freezer until contacted by us to arrange either a pick-up or mailing of it to us. If you have identified a specimen as one of the invasive hornets, please submit an online report (see below).

If you have questions, please contact Dr. Jeff Harris at JHarris@entomology.msstate.edu.
