Micros to Macros: Growing Ag Literacy

This program will add to the education and resources available to reduce food insecurity and build relationships between agents and educators.

Target Audience(s):

K-14 educators and youth

Objectives:

Participants will:

• Learn about agricultural concepts to increase their agricultural literacy,
• Improve their ability to communicate basic information about agriculture, and
• Increase their ability to make nutritious food choices.

Total Number of Modules or Sessions: 7

Total Number of Hours for Program Delivery: maximum of 33 hours

Program Delivery:

• Educational Video (Online or DVD)
• Workshop
